Since 1990, Dr. Hartmut Dietrich has structured a large number of diverse transactions for a variety of clients - funds, investment pools, companies, investors and investor communities - and pursues their legal implementation. With his personal commitment, commercial understanding and negotiating skills, Dr. Dietrich contributes to the success of his long-standing clients.

Dr. Dietrich is a visionary and knows how to translate his ideas into action. After studying in Tübingen, Berlin and Göttingen, Dr Dietrich obtained a Master Degree in Law at Berkeley. He wrote his doctoral thesis on takeover bids in American stock exchange law, a then new segment of the mergers and acquisitions business. He has remained faithful to this business throughout his career. It was also his focus at Ohle Hansen Ewerwahn in Hamburg, where he decided in 1990 with his partner Klaus-Dieter Huth to found HUTH DIETRICH HAHN as a law boutique based on the American model, specialising in transactions. He handled the first major MBO and MBI deals of the 1980s.
