Christian Jacobs was born in Bremen, studied law and business administration in Freiburg, Munich and Aix-en-Provence, worked for one year at the EC Commission in Brussels and another year at Roland Berger in Tokyo. This was followed by five years in an established law firm in Bremen. Jacobs was with White & Case LLP from 2002 to 2012, where he primarily drove the development of the firm's business in South East Asia, based in Singapore.
