Gianandrea Schmidt has been working for HUTH DIETRICH HAHN since July 2015. He advises international and national companies in all areas of corporate law as well as in M&A transactions and joint ventures. He also represents clients from the real estate sector in structuring acquisition and sales processes. In addition, he focuses on real estate financing, in particular advising mezzanine investors.

Gianandrea Schmidt grew up in Hamburg and studied law as well as politics and literature at the universities of Marburg, Lausanne and Münster. After graduating, he returned to his home town, where he gained his first professional experience in the M&A department of a large American law firm during his doctoral studies. He spent the major part of his legal traineeship there, which also led him to a London commercial law firm specialising in the field of real estate transaction law.
